Scooter is a 10 month old (best guess by veterinarian) and he currently weighs 65 pounds. This guy is just a happy go lucky, filled with joy and so desperately wants to give love and happiness to the right person or family! He does great with children but we recommend he go to a family with children over the age of 4 because he is an excitable dog and he could hurt them unintentionally wanting to play or just getting over excited. Scooter does walk on a leash but could use more control training because he likes to pull on the leash if he sees something that excites him. He rides well in a car but does seem a little nervous. He does settle down and will lay down and enjoy the ride. He still has a whole lot of puppy energy in him!!
Scooter was found wandering a back country road and even though efforts were made to try and fine his owners, no one stepped forward.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets. All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates. |
