Loki is a year old 45 pound Malinois that was found wandering a small rural Alabama community. He is neutered,Heartworm negative, up to date on all his shots and started on his monthly preventatives. A good Samaritan came across Loki and brought him home so we do not know much about his history or anything about his parentage.
Loki has come so far since he first came to Furever Friends of the South K-9 Rescue. He has gained a lot of confidence! He is so full of energy, and he is playful, silly, and an all around great pup.
However, Loki needs someone that can train him so he can be all that he can be! He is smart, inquisitive, attentive, and focused. Loki loves to play fetch his his tennis ball and will sit, give paw and lay for you and his reward is to chase his ball.

Loki gets along great with other dogs of all ages and sizes and loves to play. He is submissive to other dogs. Good with kids, prefers woman but will warm up to men. He just needs more time trust men.
Loki is leash trained, loves to sleep in bed with his humans, loves to snuggle on the couch during quiet time with his people and lets you watch T.V while he snoozes. He is completely house trained as well.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.
