Murphy is currently up to date on all shots, neutered, and started on monthly preventatives.

His weight as of Dec.18th 2023 was 23 pounds.Murphy was born Nov. 19th 2022 so is 13 months old at time of posting.

Murphy is a very excitable little guy! Loves attention and his favorite thing to do is play fetch. He runs after his favorite toys and retrieves them just fine but he is still learning to release lol. Sometimes he gets so excited he gets a little mouthy (grabs hands with his teeth) but he doesn't bite down. For that reason, Murphy should not go to a home with small children.
He is doing a lot better with his house manners and as a rule will wait to go outside to do his business. He does have the occasional accident but this is his first time being taught.
He sleeps in a crate at night but would prefer to sleep on a pile of blankets or in your room at night.
He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play and tussle with them.

He also knows the sit command and is working on stay. He likes to be hand fed but will eat out of his food bowl.

Adoption fee is $325. The cost coves all of Murphy's vetting, neuter, heartworm test, monthly preventatives while in foster, food and other supplies.
Application must be submitted and processed before we answer any questions. No exceptions!

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.
