An application MUST be submitted before being considered for adoption. No Exceptions!
Adoption fee is $275 to help cover cost of vetting,neuter, vaccines, preventative care and the cost to treat Wayne for Heart worms which cost more than the adoption fee. It also helps the rescue provide food and shelter.
Wayne is about 2 yrs old and weighs about 70-75 pounds. He is a great guy! He is friendly and loving and loves to talk. He also portrays the usual aloofness at times as is common with his breed. He gets along well with other dogs of any size and age. Wayne walks on a leash well and is learning loose leash walking. He knows the command wait, down, and stay.

Once the application is received and processed his foster will be in touch to go over other behaviors, likes and dislikes with the applicant.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.
