Oliver is a 17 pound 1 yr old Shi Tzu possibly mixed with Maltese. Because he was a stray that was taken to a shelter we have no way of knowing for sure what his actual breed is. This is just Purely a guess on our part.

 

Oliver is a sweet and loving dog that just wants to give and receive love. He is great with other dogs and seemed to be fine around cats. because he can be a little temperamental we do not want to adopt Oliver to a family with small children under the age of 10. He is not an aggressive dog by any means, but he has growled when being scolded for bothering other dogs. He has never bitten anyone, only gave a grumpy growl.
He has great house manners and seems to be house broke.

Oliver is leashed trained and loves to ride next to his people in the car on the front seat and watch out the windows. He is crate trained. He is a quiet dog but will bark if he is wanting something, liek going out or getting out of his crate.
 

Oliver will make a wonderful new addition to any family.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.
